It is a key text for the Faith & Prosperity Gospel movement so it is important that we examine how to best interpret it.  The phrase “the measure of faith” from the King James Version was critical in the early days of the movement’s teachings to support the claim that every Christian is given the same amount of faith. But is that what Paul wanted to communicate?
